The Concept

Dolce&Gabbana Eau de Toilette is the iconic first fragrance created by the brand in 1992: the epitome of femininity. The floral aldehyde scent is a daring composition of contrasts – at the same time both sharp and sweet, gentle yet striking. Enigmatic and unconventional, this scent is a true classic – as captivating today as at the time of its creation

The Design

The pure simplicity of the flacon’s architectural form is offset by the charm of its translucent scarlet cap, set on a pedestal of gleaming gold. Housed in a coffret of scarlet velvet, the bottle’s design reflects the strength and passionate femininity of the Mediterranean woman.

The fragrance opens with an explosion of citrus and aromatic topnotes – juicy mandarin, sparkling and addictive bergamot, and bitter orange – heightened by a burst of aldehydes.

These aldehydes bring a dazzling brightness to the scent’s feminine floral heart of sweet orange blossom, lily of the valley, and softly spicy carnation.

A hint of peppery coriander adds piquancy to the smooth florals, which give way to base notes of rich, woody patchouli, complemented by the sweet and balsamic notes of vanilla, tonka and musk.
